Here's a picture of me with my homemade cherry JSK that I haven't used for years, yay!

I wish they'd take pictures of me in my gyaru get-up, but I guess that wasn't ~*special*~ enough for them :P But all in all I think it turned out to be a nice article, and it's good to see people paying more attention to the Japanese environment we have here in Bergen!

Also, yesterday there was a memorial concert for the anniversary of the big Japan earthquake. It was arranged in Johanneskirken (Church of John), which I think -from an atheistic p.o.w.- is one of the prettiest churches I've been to! There were classical music, friends and free tea and japanese sweets! It was really nice and touching. I also got recognized by some of the people who attended who had read the article :D A Japanese lady even wanted a picture with me! 'Twas a good day.

Now I'm makin' dresses, and actually thinking quite often about this years DesuCon, and I actually wanna Cosplay! I don't know if I'll have enough time to actually put together a costume, but one can dream!

I've been soo busy with school and such after I got home from my Christmas holiday, I haven't had time to blog or anything!

Eventually I will post some pictures from Christmas and up until now, but I'll do i when I feel like it.. There's too much for one post XD

So, the news are:

We've finally started the Japanese lessons, I'm not exactly struggling yet since I know some Japanese already.. But I'm guessing it'll be hell from next semester on!

I'll be making a sales post pretty soon, I kinda spent wayyyy too much money on alcohol last Friday, haha... hah..ha.....ah. So yeah, selling stuff soon!

I've dyed my hair RED! Finally!

I can absolutely not find my lashes nor my lash glue.. So annoying! I wanna do full gyaru make up again soon, but I don't want to do it half-assed :p It's been so long time since I last got really dolled up, I just haven't had time! Or just, not being bothered by actually doing it.

But now I've had enough! Next Saturady some friends and I will celebrate our dear Anne, who turns 20 years old that day! And we will be fabulous!!

Aaaaah, nailed my linguistics final! Aaaaight!

I celebrated with my japanese class at TGIF! Everyone ordered food except me, I just ordered a Bloody Mary ;) Because drinking alcoholic beverages at 1pm on a thursday in a family restaurant is cool! Durr.. It was tasty though, I needed it BAD. Was shaking due to no sleep + too much caffeine + nicotine + sugar, so some alcohol made everything better XD

My first finals, a series.

Over a week until linguistics final exam, this is going great! Also, I have lots of time to write my philosophy paper!

Coffee intake = Almost at zero.

3 days 'till paper is due, 2 days for linguistics final exam. Starting to feel the pressure. Coffee intake = ridiculous.

omgomgomgomgomgomg the finals are todayyyyyy omgomgomgomgomg ._.

Coffee intake = Replaced with energy drinks and sugar

Paper is submitted, exam is DONE. Day finally over after "some" cans of Burn, chocolate milk, candy, alcohol and cigarettes.

So yeah.

One more test, and I'm done. I'm going home for Christmas on Monday night, can't wait to see my good old mates again! ♥♥ And! I'm taking care of Sam and Susanns kitty called Snickers for Christmas! I hope she will be happy during her stay, it's been a long time since we've had a cat in the house!

New year resolutions

Yes, I know it's early, but I have no concentration but to dick around online right now. And, I need to write them down before I forget!

1. Get a job.

I have no money atm, it really sucks to see 90% of the little amount of money I have go to bills, bills, bills every month!

2. Learn to do the splits

I've been keen on learning it since ever, but my hip "condition" is making it a bitch to do. But no more! I will be able to do at least the left and right leg split in 2012! Erryday I'm stretching..

3. Don't fail next semesters japanese classes

This semester I've only had philosophy and linguistic classes, we start the japanese classes from next year on!

4. DON'T SPEND ALL THE MONEY. SAVE SOME.

Seriously, no need for further explanation XDD

And with that said, I'm actually going to bed. Long day tomorrow.

I've thought about this for some time; I want red hair. I want it real bad.

I thiiiink I'll dye it at a hairdresser(!) next year, when I get moneyz!

But, what shade should I choose?

I love the natural red, but I also love fire red...

Are there any pros and cons with having red hair?

Cons: I've heard red pigments are a bitch to get out..

Also, it's hard coordinating red with my other favorite colour, pink.

Pro: Red hair is GORGEOUS.

So I got my Galstar shoes + bag yesterday, a nice little Christmas present to myself :)

The colour is a bit darker than in the photos, it's a really deep rich colour!

The shoes are a bit darker than the bag, but it's close enough. :P

Me and my friends went out last Tuesday, drunktards ftw!

There was a quiz at Kvarteret, we failed miserably.

Whenever we've been at a quiz night, our name has always been Team Rocket. And we've always failed. Coinsidence? I think not. So we drank and drew Pokemons on our answer sheets.

The day after was... sleepy. Woke up at Annes place, we made breakfast and I went to class. SNOOORE.

But we attended another quiz, a Christmas-themed quiz at Ad Fontes (our uni student cafe)!

But in the death match our team lost, ffuuuu. We got gift certificates, candy, christmas cookie-stuff and things. Yay prizes!

Oh boy, what a night!

Had loads of fun.. but wow, I'm still a bit tired XD At first Anne came to me, I did our make up (which turned out FAB) and then we went to a preparty at Thomas' apartment!

I had a bottle of red wine, and spent too much money out on the town. We went to Fincken, Bergens only(?) gay bar to dance! I fell to the floor a couple of times, not really shocking when you think about the amount of alcohol I'd been drinking :P

Last weekend has been fantastic!

The DJ's were awesome!! They played the Time Warp song from Rocky Horror (ofc), lotsa The Prodigy and Skrillex!! It was hard to dance to dupstep, but I was drunk so IDC.

The days go by, and I wonder if I've really done anything the last few weeks. I've just been busy being a zombie student. Not very giving.

But after Christmas I will be applying for jobs like crazy! I just have to get through this semester, I hate philosophy (lol I can't say it enough).

Since the first pair I got were a size too small I had to send them back and get a bigger size.. With lots of confusion and a whole lot of swearing the right pair finally found their way home to me ♥

They fit me nicely, and I got lots of nice compliments for it :)

So on Saturday I went out with Emilie and my friend Thomas, I got sooo drunk! lol, I'm not drinking red wine in a while..

I'm still alive, and I won't get a proper internet connection until 18th oct!! Bah, NextGentel and all the other companies are useless! SO SLOW.

The last week we've just starting to get used to this whole new student life far away from home! The ninja pub crawl was a success, I got way drunk. The Disney party the day after was also a success,I got waaay too drunk! Well you experience "fadderuka" only once.. in most cases :P

Okay, we have no internet at home yet, so I have to blog from school/library etc.

HELLO!

I've officially moved to Bergen! And boy, it's a looot to take in. And a whole lot to do!

First year student are divided into groups with leaders/sponsors. The reason for this is to get to know each other better, get to know the city and most important of all; Get shitfaced!

So tonight we're going pub crawling in ninja costumes. It'll be awesome, can't wait! So I have to buy a black T-shirt to make a ninja hood, like this:

Like I said earlier, the whole Move-to-Bergen is a lot to take in for me.. Yesterday I felt sooo lonely at the BBQ-party with about 100-200 people. >_> Ironic.

I miss all my friends in Trondheim and Oslo SO MUCH, I don't know what to do... (except go home to Trondheim x))

But luckily I don't live alone, I live with Emilie and Oda! And that's very good for me, so I don't just sit inside my room and stare at the walls.

Okay, I did have a feeling that yesterdays date with Martin would be our last..

We split up.

We sat in a cafe drinking tea/coffee, and suddenly he gets this sad look on his face.. I ask what's on his mind, and he replies "I think it would be best if we go our seperate ways from here.."
I was in a little shock, even though I knew deep down this day would come. Eventually as we start talking, I cry, he cries.
He followed me home, where we kissed and hugged while I cried my heart out. It was so hard to let go of him, because then and there I could only remember our best moment, our best days.

I thought for one moment "Why the hell are we doing this? I love him!", and the other "This is for the best, we've grown apart"

Because we have.
The little differences that made us interesting as a couple has only grown larger and alienated ourselves. If we've changed that much in three-four years, what would have happened the next three years when we're apart?

I do love him, I really do.

Thank you for all the happy memories you've given me, thank you for all the strength and hope you've given me. I wouldn't change a thing, if I had to do it all again it'd be exactly the same.
I wish you a happy life, and good luck with your studies, good luck with your future.

New dawn, new day

The shock is starting to wear off, good. Starting to live the normal life again.

On Monday we walked in a rose "march" to show our condolences to the victims of the twin attacks.

The biggest march was of course in Oslo, with around 200.000 people attending. In Trondheim we had "only" 20.000, it was packed!

It was very moving, very sad. But still with dignity.

I should tell you about the previous days though, went I went out to the countryside with Veronica and Kenneth to relax, and afterwards I played with Jørgen at Støy på landet (Noise festival outside the city).

Det har vært mye gråt, med noen timers opphold her og der. Opphold der man kan glemme virkeligheten for en stund og kan ha det gøy med gode venner.

To døgn er gått, alt sitter fortsatt brent på hjernebarken.

De døde blir snart offentliggjort, sier statsministeren. Det blir en ny prøvelse, ett nytt møte med ondskapen som har skjedd.

Jeg personlig kjenner ingen som har blitt skadet eller drept, men tanken på at mange av mine gode venner fra Oslo var innenfor trykkradiusen fra bomben skremmer vettet av meg. Jeg er så glad for at dere er i god behold!

This is absolutely horrible.

Yesterday a huge bomb went off in the government HQ in Oslo, and within the hour a crazy shooting episode occured at a political youth camp on an island, Utøya, outside Oslo.

92 confirmed killed. Many people are critically injured, and many many are still missing.

A LOT of people spread hateful racist messages on Facebook yesterday about muslims and the immigration politics.. I bet many people are ashamed of bashing the islamic culture without having their facts sorted out! People are so narrowminded and blinded by hate....Because the man responsible is a christian right wing extremist Norwegian guy. His name is Anders Behring Breivik, and he is currently the most hated man in Norway. How can a person dress up as a police officer, and suddenly scream "I'm gonna kill you all!" and open fire on innocent kids? I'm absolutely speechless, absolutely speechless.

I want to strangle him myself, but it's not the right thing to do. It won't solve anything. We're not a country of "an eye for an eye". As our Prime Minister said; "Our answer to violence is even more democracy"

I think now we - both the government and the Norwegian people - are handling this very well. We won't accept this, justice will prevail and we will stand together through this.

I just hope I can avoid sleeping on a matress in a hall for the first month..! That would be horrible! But maaaybe Oda also will join us, so that makes it a bit easier finding a place to live.

So we'll see.

I just hate the uncertainty of it! Not knowing if I get in, not knowing if I'll actually get a roof over my head, and if I can afford that roof without working my ass off while trying to study.

FINALLY

I got my boots today!

FedEx said that the boots were in Oslo, while posten.no said that it's been in trondheim all along, and the last pick-up day was yesterday. I ran fast as hell to the post office today, to hear that the boots have been sent back, and has already gone out of the country.

One of the employees called costumer service for me, and they found out that the package was here all along XD It took them 20 minutes to figure that out. Wow.

Yes, I felt just as nauseous and nervous after the show, but we got great feedback! So we went directly up to Eivinds to get our drink on!

Later, me Ronja and Ingvild went out on the town, to get even more drunk, haha.. Then we went home to Ronjas to crash.

The trip home was agonizing, SO BORING. And at the stop midways I wanted to have something to drink (aka tap water), but the water there was contaminated so I didn't have anything to drink for 8 hours T_T

I spent the day hanging up posters for the Fetish Party that Hellfire is having the 25th. I'm sad I can't go, but I'm glad that I can attend desucon though xD

I got a bit bored with all the pink, so I decided to go for purple instead!

My wigs haven't arrived either.. But the sellers said it would take a while, so I guess I have to be patient.

As I said, I styled my ugliest wig yesterday, and I think with a bit of accessories and the right make up it might look good XD

There's still 10h, 17h and 6d 'till bidding rounds are over. I don't wanna sleep, because I don't want to get outbid.

I think.. I'm going to be asleep when the white wig auction is over, I'm going to be awake for the pink one, and the black one I miight be able to catch.

And, $1.29 for a wig with free shipping is ridiculous, and with 6 remaining days and other bids I doubt the price will stay that way.

I just put bids on these three wigs on eBay:

I had this sudden urge to buy more wigs, because today I styled one of my cheapest wigs! It looks so shiny and horrible, I had to do something about it! So now I've bought more projects x)

The black one is going to end up the most fluffy, I think.. I'd like to see how the white and pink looks originally, and then maybe come up with something.

I'm so weak..

I looked on Yumetenbo and Galstar for a top to wear at Desucon in June.. And I ended up buying a pair of shoes and hotpants XD

I guess I could just customize a tank top or something, something simple :)

ANYWAYS, this is what I bought:

I just hope everything fits! Japanese sizes and my big ass doesn't always get along.. x)

Wow I've been absent lately. Oh well. I've been living at my bf's house for a week or so, he's been fixing my old computer! Soooo much old music and MANY pictures to go through! Nostalgia ♥

And now I'm looking for apartments in Bergen, since I'm moving there for my minor in Japanese! I've applied for three student apartments at sib.no, but I'm also looking at finn.no..

I sooo don't want to move, but it's what I have to do if I want to follow my dreams (or something like that..)

Today is Norways independence day! *clapclapclapclap*
Happy birthday Norway ^^

People celebrate it with speeches, marching around in cities with music and flags. We also eat lots os hot dogs and ice cream. Later today I'm going to my gran, to eat more hotdogs and waffles with my extended family ♥

Made an easy, quick salad for a late lunch~

Doesn't it look yummy? :D

This is what you need:

(for two portions)

1 tomato

1/4 salad head

1/2 Long red bell pepper

1 Spicy sausage, from chicken/turkey

1/4 Red onion

Chop it up and mix it it up in a bowl!

Super tasty, super yummy and super heathly!

The total kcal amount per portion is only 58 kcal, so if you need to loose weight this is an ideal little in-between-meal for you :)

International Manba day

So last Saturday was the International Manba Day, and I dressed up ofc.

Because of my lack of tan/dark foundation and crazy hair, I ended up looking more like banba than manba. But nonetheless, crazy coloured clothing and BIG hair!

I've run out of make up (foundation, powder, mascara etc etc) and skin products, so I feel like shit these days. So not many fashion posts from my part.. :p

Yesterday I made an omelette. I've only done it a couple of times before, always ended up like scrambled eggs, lol. But this time it was really successful! Allthough I don't have any kind of vegetables or anything yummy to put in the omelette except sausage and chives, it turned out pretty good!

I finished my summer skirt yesterday. Not superhappy about it, because it's WAY too fluffy! It makes me feel like I'm god damn Chiquita:

So I think I'm going to take it for a wash, and see if the mesh settles down a bit..

I'm going to work today! I haven't been to work since.. april 8th. So yeah, I'm kinda short on cash. The last days I've been eating one meal a day(containing only rice or pasta), because I basically don't have any food left. I feel weak, and my mood is ever down low. I'm too proud to ask my parents, they have their bills to pay. I've been applying for new jobs, but I still haven't got a positive answer from any of them.

So basically I have to get welfare money. (is that the right word btw?) I'm going to get kicked out of my apartment if this continues!

OH WELL

Enough rants for one day.

Aaah, I had a nice easter holiday. Very chill. Last year I went to Tokyo, I kinda wish I was there this year as well! *sigh*

Last Saturday me and my bf went to Yngve to drink, and went out on the town later. I had barely eaten that day, so the little I drank got me kinda drunk. lol.
